Mountain Plumber in Spanish: ‘My life was ruined’

A construction worker in southern Spain has been charged with rape after he allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl in a bathroom of a hotel in the Spanish capital.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told police on Monday that she was visiting her parents in the city of La Ceiba when she was attacked in her hotel room.

The alleged rape took place in a public bathroom at the hotel on the evening of December 15, and the woman had not been drinking alcohol at the time, according to the police report.

The man was arrested and has been lodged in a police station in the northern city of Granada.

The girl’s mother, who was not at home at the moment, told local media that the man was “very angry” and “wanted to kill her.”

The woman told police that her daughter was raped by the man, who also allegedly forced her to perform oral sex on him.

She said she had asked him to stop but he refused and she continued to rape him.

The incident took place while she was in the bathroom and she was unable to call her parents, who are in the US.

The construction worker is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.

The Spanish government says it has launched an investigation into the case.
