David Gray has ‘one heck of a career’ as a plumbing specialist
David Gray, who has previously been involved in plumbing as a handyman, has been named to the company’s board.
The 51-year-old, who worked as a plumber for five years in the UK, is a former general contractor and currently serves as president and chief executive officer of British Plumbing.
He joined the company in 2016 and previously worked as the managing director of a local engineering firm and a consultant for a national plumbing company.
Mr Gray is one of a number of prominent UK plumbers to be appointed to the board of British Water, which owns the British Plumber Group, which has a market value of £10bn.
In a statement, British Water said: “We’re proud to welcome David Gray as an executive member of the Board of British water and wish him all the best in his new role.”
