How to clean up your city’s plumbing system
DUNCANS, Texas — A city is seeking to clean out the city’s water supply after finding that a sewer pipe in the city was leaking and the pipes around the pipes were corroding, according to the Denton Daily News.
City officials say the city will use a robot to inspect the city plumbing system to determine what caused the pipe to break.
The city has about 1,400 pipe breakages in its system every year.
A robot is expected to be deployed Monday and a full inspection will be performed on Tuesday.
The pipe breakage was discovered at the corner of North West Boulevard and North Central Avenue, according the DNP.
The pipe is not connected to the city sewer system.
